it was to help dope an unnamed rider.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".m740uq1efy.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-7\"><span data-reactid=\".m740uq1efy.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-7.0\">In the High Court judgement, Mr Justice Fordham said there is &#8220;nothing within the tribunal&#8217;s approach, reasoning or conclusions&#8221; that was &#8220;wrong&#8221; and &#8220;still less any respect&#8221; that would undermine the overall conclusion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".m740uq1efy.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-8\"><span data-reactid=\".m740uq1efy.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-8.0\">Freeman was also ordered to pay the GMC&#8217;s costs of \u00a323,000.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".m740uq1efy.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-9\"><span data-reactid=\".m740uq1efy.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-9.0\">His legal team, JMW Solicitors, said they were &#8220;disappointed by the judgment of the High Court&#8221; to reject his appeal against the MPTS&#8217; decision.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".m740uq1efy.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-10\"><span data-reactid=\".m740uq1efy.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-10.0\">Freeman admitted 18 of 22 charges against him but denied the central charge about the purpose of the Testogel order.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".m740uq1efy.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-11\"><span data-reactid=\".m740uq1efy.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-11.0\">However, the tribunal did not believe him, concluding: &#8220;It was clear that, on the balance of probabilities, the inference could properly be drawn that, when Dr Freeman placed the order and obtained the Testogel, he knew or believed it was to be administered to an athlete to improve their athletic performance.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".m740uq1efy.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-12\"><span data-reactid=\".m740uq1efy.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-12.0\">Following the tribunal, Freeman was charged with two violations by UK Anti-Doping (Ukad) &#8211; possession of prohibited substances and tampering or attempted tampering with any part of doping control.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".m740uq1efy.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-13\"><span data-reactid=\".m740uq1efy.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-13.0\">Ukad paused the case following Freeman&#8217;s appeal against the decision to strike him off, but has confirmed it will now look to resume proceedings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".m740uq1efy.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-14\"><span data-reactid=\".m740uq1efy.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-14.0\">&#8220;Following confirmation of the outcome of the High Court appeal today, Ukad will be contacting the NADP and Dr Freeman&#8217;s representatives with a view to resuming its proceedings against him,&#8221;
