said Jason. &#8220;It&#8217;s got to be a lottery pick kind of probability.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-7\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-7.0\">During Super Bowl week in Phoenix, their mother Donna has become arguably as famous as her sons, speaking to media from around the world about the &#8216;Kelce Bowl&#8217;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-8\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-8.0\">And if the story was not already surreal enough, there could be another addition to the family this weekend.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"story-body__crosshead\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$crosshead-10\">Brothers reaching New Heights<\/h3>\n<figure class=\"gs-u-mt0 gs-u-mb-alt+ story-body__media story-body__media--figure qa-story-body-media\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$image-11\"><span class=\"gs-u-display-block story-body__media\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$image-11.0\"><span class=\"gs-u-display-block gs-o-responsive-image\" style=\"padding-bottom:56.25%;\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$image-11.0.0\"><\/span><\/span><figcaption class=\"gel-brevier gs-u-ph+ gs-u-pv-alt story-body__media__caption story-body__media__caption--image\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$image-11.1\">Jason (left) and Travis Kelce (right) received cookies from their mother on Monday, which Travis called &#8216;Super Bowl fuel&#8217;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-12\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-12.0\">Jason and Travis Kelce have both been in the NFL for at least 10 years now, winning one Super Bowl each.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-13\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-13.0\">They have each had numerous Pro Bowl selections, meaning they are the NFL&#8217;s best in their positions &#8211; centre and tight end, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-14\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-14.0\">But last summer they wanted to start a new venture, a podcast named New Heights after Cleveland Heights, the suburb where they grew up in Cleveland, Ohio.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-15\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-15.0\">On the first episode, Jason talks about getting very hands on with some cows he purchased last summer. That set the tone, and the topics have got more random while the brothers have got more relaxed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-17\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-17.0\">New Heights is about football, family and fun, and it was one of the most popular podcasts in the US even before talk of the &#8216;Kelce Bowl&#8217;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-18\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-18.0\">On last week&#8217;s episode Jason said he was &#8220;already over it&#8221; and they tried to play it down. But now they have fully embraced the media circus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-19\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-19.0\">They are selling &#8216;Kelce Bowl&#8217; merchandise and recorded the latest episode on &#8216;radio row&#8217;, where media broadcast around the clock during Super Bowl week.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"story-body__crosshead\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$crosshead-20\">Body slams and Bambi<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-21\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-21.0\">At 35, Jason is two years older and in another episode Travis remembered how, when growing up, his big brother once body slammed him through a wooden floor in their living room.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-22\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-22.0\">To avoid getting caught immediately, they covered the hole with their couch. Boys will be boys.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-23\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-23.0\">Travis has been surprised that most of the questions during the numerous media opportunities this week have been about who won the most fights growing up.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-24\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-24.0\">&#8220;Jason won every fight but one &#8211; and that was the last one!&#8221; he said. &#8220;He stopped fighting me after that.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-26\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-26.0\">That must have been when a sudden growth spurt meant Travis catch up with his older brother.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-27\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-27.0\">&#8220;It hit like lightning,&#8221; said Jason. &#8220;Overnight, he went from an uncoordinated Bambi to a full blown stallion. I was like &#8216;where did Seabiscuit come from?'&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-28\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-28.0\">At 6ft 5in, Travis is now two inches taller but Jason has a more stocky frame, weighing 134kg while Travis is 113kg. Jason&#8217;s main job is to block the opposition and he accepts Travis has always been the more gifted athlete.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-29\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-29.0\">Sadly, there will be no repeat of their boyhood battles on Sunday. Ed paid for them to try several sports before settling on football, and they played on the same college team at the University of Cincinnati.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-33\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-33.0\">Since coming into the NFL they have been one-team men, and mother Donna has been their biggest fan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-34\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-34.0\">During last season&#8217;s play-offs they played on the same day but hours apart so Donna watched the Eagles lose at Tampa Bay before flying 1,200 miles to Kansas City to see the Chiefs beat Pittsburgh. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-35\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-35.0\">The NFL tweeted progress reports on her journey and during the Chiefs&#8217; post-match news conference she asked Travis about making the only touchdown pass of his career during that game.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-36\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-36.0\">But Travis accepts that, right now, Jason is her favourite, and Donna admits it too. That is because Jason and his wife Kylie have given her two grandchildren &#8211; and there is another on the way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-37\"><span data-reactid=\".eqg00dg3su.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-37.0\">Kylie is 38 weeks pregnant and will be accompanied by her nurse at the game in Phoenix.
