Picks can also be traded during the draft<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h3 class=\"story-body__crosshead\" data-reactid=\".1u1co7347ek.0.0.0.1.$crosshead-17\">Who will be the first draft pick?<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".1u1co7347ek.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-18\"><span data-reactid=\".1u1co7347ek.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-18.0\">Although the Chicago Bears had last season&#8217;s worst record (3-14), they are happy to continue with young quarterback Justin Fields and the brightest prospects in this year&#8217;s draft are QBs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".1u1co7347ek.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-19\"><span data-reactid=\".1u1co7347ek.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-19.0\">After going through three starting quarterbacks last season, the Carolina Panthers therefore agreed to give Chicago several draft picks plus DJ Moore, an established NFL receiver, for the first pick.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".1u1co7347ek.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-20\"><span data-reactid=\".1u1co7347ek.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-20.0\">As many as four QBs could be among the first 10 picks, with Alabama&#8217;s <\/span><strong data-reactid=\".1u1co7347ek.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-20.$bold-1\">Bryce Young<\/strong><span data-reactid=\".1u1co7347ek.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-20.2\"> favourite to be first off the board. Seen as a natural leader, he was awarded the Heisman Trophy for best college player in 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".1u1co7347ek.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-21\"><span data-reactid=\".1u1co7347ek.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-21.0\">However, there are some &#8216;red flags&#8217; over his slender build. At 5ft 10in, he has a similar stature to Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, picked first in 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".1u1co7347ek.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-22\"><span data-reactid=\".1u1co7347ek.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-22.0\">But Young brushed off those concerns at last month&#8217;s NFL scouting combine, saying: &#8220;I&#8217;ve been this size, respectfully, my whole life. I know who I am. I know what I can do.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-reactid=\".1u1co7347ek.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-23\"><span data-reactid=\".1u1co7347ek.0.0.0.1.$paragraph-23.0\">Carolina are the first team to trade for the first pick since the Los Angeles Rams in 2016, with quarterback Jared Goff going on to lead LA to the Super Bowl in his third season. The Panthers would probably be happy with that kind of impact from their new man.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"story-body__crosshead\" data-reactid=\".1u1co7347ek.0.0.0.1.$crosshead-24\">&#8216;Alien&#8217;
