I’d just bought a new lens and took our dogs for a run at Sutton Park, near Birmingham, one Sunday evening – and this image captures everything about Lulu beautifully. She was three when that photo was taken – and having just turned 12, she’s a little bit slower these days. But out of all the photos I’ve taken since then, this is still my favourite.”
