Here are some predictions from big names in the boxing world.

Lightweight Caroline Dubois: “I’m going with a Sandy Ryan point win or late knockout. I think the skill and confidence will help her dominate early and take over later on.”

Boxing pundit and former Commonwealth champion Stacey Copeland: “I could make a case for both fighters winning. Sandy has the advantage of being naturally bigger and stronger at that particular weight. Her work on the inside is excellent, with massive heavy body shots and a big right hand. She will look to put it on Terri and maybe look to get a stoppage.

“For Terri, her movement, shot selection, hand speed and work rate will be really important. Both women have advantages, but most of all lets hope it lives up to the hype.”

Former undisputed champion Chantelle Cameron: “I think Sandy will win by unanimous decision as she’s a bit stronger and has more experience.”

Former light-middleweight world champion Hannah Rankin: “I’m going with a late stoppage for Sandy. She’s coming off strong performances, is spiteful in the ring and I think she’s going to be too much for Harper.”

Trainer and former lightweight world champion Anthony Crolla: “The first three rounds will be so important. If Terri Harper starts well and gets into a rhythm, Sandy Ryan will struggle to close the distance. It’s a real 50/50 fight but I’ll just lean towards Sandy on recent form. I think she might win on points but I do reckon it will be close.”

Pundit and former super-featherweight world champion Barry Jones: “It’s a well matched contest but I’m going to go for a Sandy Ryan by stoppage in the mid to late rounds. Terri Harper can outbox her for sure, if she’s in and out with her feet and sensible with her jab. But when she gets hit clean, you can see the worry in her face.

“This isn’t just about Harper’s loss to Alicia Baumgardner, which was a great shot. In other contests before and since then, there have been signs she feels massively uncomfortable under sustained pressure.

“Sandy can be too aggressive for her own good at times but I have a feeling she might get the balance right. If she catches Harper early and sustain that pressure, I think Harper might crack.”

IBF welterweight world champion Natasha Jonas: “I expect it to be a real good fight. People wills say it’s 50/50, but in my opinion it’s more 60/40 to Sandy. I just think down to experience and past few performances I’m going to go with a Sandy win.”

Super-flyweight Maisey Rose Courtney: “It’s a hard one. I like both ladies and they’re both very good, tough and skilful operators. It will go down to who wants it more and experience. Harper is more experienced in the pro game and been in there with some unbelievable boxers, but I really don’t know about this one.

“I don’t want to sit on the fence but I’ll just say the toughest woman on the day will win, and that it will be more of a scrap than people think. I don’t think it will be very technical and they were just go at it for 10 rounds.”

Lightweight Rhiannon Dixon: “Sandy Ryan should stop her, but probably wins on points.”

Featherweight Raven Chapman: “I’ve got to go with my team mate Terri. I reckon it will go to points, but Terri could hurt Sandy.

“I know Terri is feeling very good at the moment and has that old fire back which she felt went missing for a little while.”
