BBC Africa travelled to the Atlantic Ocean archipelago to find out how local footballing talent is being shaped.

Silveria Nedio coached current Blue Sharks players at the Bola Pra Frente Academy in the capital Praia, while Cape Verde football federation president Mario Semedo says the prize money obtained from playing at the finals will be used to develop the domestic game.
